SILF Scholarship is a Sasakawa India Leprosy Foundation initiative to provide financial assistance to the students of Leprosy colony in pursuing their higher education.
Benefits
Selected candidates will receive financial assistance monthly/yearly
Eligibility
One parent or the applicant must have had leprosy and must be living in a self-settled leprosy colony
Only one person from a family can receive the scholarship in any given year
Only first-year students starting their studies in the 2021-2022 academic year are eligible
Applicants who receive scholarships from other organizations or individuals will not be considered
Applicants for B.Sc. (Basic Nursing) must have completed their higher secondary education (10+2) from a recognized school with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English
For GNM, arts and commerce students are eligible to apply
Applicants must be at least 17 years old at the time of application
Applicants must have completed their previous course in the year 2022 or 2021
